Dr. Traenkle is truly a rare gem. From the moment she walked into the room, I felt completely at ease. She took the time to explain exactly what she was going to do before the procedure and continued to talk me through each step as it was happening. Her calm, compassionate approach made a potentially stressful experience feel manageable and even comforting. She genuinely cared about how I felt, checked in with me frequently, and treated me with kindness and respect. I am so grateful to have been in her care and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and exceptional physician.

It was the vary 1st time going, because I a was a new patient it took a brief minute to get in, but Dr was amazing to talk too. She had looked over my chart clearly before she came in to see. I was very impressed

I absolutely adore Dr Schmidt, I followed her from Women’s OB-GYN and now drive an hour, each way, to have her as my doctor. I always felt seen, listened to, and heard. She never makes me feel stupid for asking questions or voicing concerns. She doesn’t rush me or brush me off.

Schnakenburg was respectful and compassionate. However, the standard of care for pain management during IUD insertion is unacceptable. I said that I was concerned about pain management, and providers only asked if I had taken painkillers before the appointment. They did not explain what, if anything, would be done to reduce pain during the procedure. The pain I experienced was severe. It was much worse than any period cramps I've had. It was hard to remain standing when the cramps hit for at least an hour after, until I was able to go home and take OTC pain medication. I would tell family and friends to find a provider that reaearches and implements effective pain management for IUD insertion. I'm especially disappointed because I previously would have recommended this practice, as I consider it a transgender-friendly provider.

That this obgyn was amazing she was very nice and she didn't rush out of the room she stayed in there and talked to me about my exam and answered questions I had and even explained things to me in my language lol and also the other girl that came in with her was also extremely friendly and understanding. And I loved the way she even was expecting and still just a wonderful glow about her and smiles! I couldn't have been more comfortable and pleased with her even considering the exam. Alexis is absolutely amazing! Very caring and compassionate. She explains everything so well and answers all questions with a caring response very thoroughly. She doesn’t make you feel belittled when you ask questions. I have seen Alexis for both routine and procedure appointments and she has been the best provider.
