Everyone is extremely nice. Have always been seen at my appointed time (except once, but they were getting use to new computer system). Very thorough in explanations and doesn't push medicine on me that I don't want.

The staff at Oncology in Tawas Hospital is the best ever. I am treated so well and my Dr. speaks to me so I understand everything. I am listened to no matter what the question is. You never feel hurried and all my paperwork is always ready for me and my next appointment is ready at that time also. I am very thankful for the Oncology department. Thank you, [Name]

On my first visit with him he came in very knowledgeable about my previous medical history. He had done his homework, he knew the numerous surgeries and other health issues I have had. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He took plenty of time to explain my treatment plan. He made sure all of my questions were answered. I am very pleased to have him as my new oncologist!

Always takes time to explain information in a way easy to understand and never rushes a visit very personable.

Overall, Dr. Preston is a very good provider. He listens and answers questions. The office staff might routinely provide basic written information about the diagnosed illness. In terms of my illness, I was not familiar with the term chronic myeloid leukemia. But I was very capable of researching it online. That may not be true of everyone in this rural area.

Jennifer Horton is a wonderful PA that really listens and cares about her paitents. She spends extra time to make sure we understand everything thoroughly. She keeps up on the world of medicine and usually has an answer for any questions we ask her. When we see her, we are confident that we are in her capable hands. Her office staff are wonderful also! They are very thoughful and caring too. :)
