I feel so incredibly fortunate to have been able to have Dr. Van Dorp as my surgeon. What a talented, caring, and compassionate person he is. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing surgery.

Absolutely wonderful physician. Fantastic surgeon. Dr. VanDorp is very thorough, caring, and compassionate. He explained everything I wanted to know both pre- surgery and post-surgery as well as during the follow up appointment. I could not have been more pleased with the care I received.

I would highly recommend Dr Van Dorp he and his staff are amazing. It is awesome that the Dr himself called a few days after my hernia surgery to see how I was doing. I am very happy with the treatment I received.

I was very impressed with Shane Martin. He is very knowledgeable and explained what needed to be done so I could understand it. I was pleased he could give me a surgery date before I left his office.

All of my experiences with MyMich providers and facilities have been of the highest level of quality, professionalism, knowledge, courtesy, respect, patience and empathy. Dr. Van Dorp and his office is no exception. They met and/or exceeded the exemplary treatment that all of my encounters with MyMichigan facilities in Saginaw, Freeland and Midland have provided me over the entire 7 years I have been living in the area. A+ care.

Dr. Shane Martin was selected by me based upon his available reviews and he did not disappoint. He is very personable, friendly and took the time to listen to my concerns and explain his assessment fully. He took more than enough time to answer my questions and sought confirmation from me on details he shared to be sure I understood. I highly recommend Dr. Shane Martin for General Surgeon needs.
