What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I had to have an emergency appendectomy. As soon as I was diagnosed, Dr Van Dorp and his PA saw me right away, explained the risks and benefits of the procedure and got me right into surgery. The post-op care from the PAs was amazing as well as my outpatient follow-up appointment. They listen to my concerns and answered all my questions, although most questions were answered before I even had to ask.

1. I needed to have hernia surgery right away. He took the time to look through his schedule and fit me in early enough so that i could recover before my vacation. 2. I really appreciated that he was always prompt for my appointments. I was always called for my appointments on time. 3. He took the time to explain the procedure, down time and answered all of my questions. He made sure I understood everything.l 4. He's a really personable guy! 5. I would recommend him in a minute!

Dr Van Dorp and his staff were vey caring and professional. When I had a question it was handled quickly and knowledgeably I received an answer to my concern in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Dr Van Dorp to family and friends because of the caring, professionalism, how quickly appointments were made, and how thoroughly everything was explained to me.

Dr. and his staff provide competent, professional and caring service. Dr. listens to me and works with me to make medical/surgical decisions. And I depend on him and trust him to use his knowledge and skills to provide high quality surgical interventions to address my health care needs.

Everyone was so kind and considerate. From the nurses to the OR staff to the anesthesiologist, I couldn't have asked for better care. And Dr. VanDorp was the kind of surgeon that I would go to again and again. He managed to fit me in in two days when he had a cancellation. 100% positive experience!

He bed side is wonderful. Only concern was getting an infection in incision and literally seeing him the day before it oozed out of a open spot in the incision to be told with a culture it’s growing mrsa!
