So far I have received excellent care from Dr.Maxwell and his staff. Dr. Maxwell was very transparent and honest about his diagnosis and predicted outcomes of my condition with or without a surgical procedure.

Dr Maxwell listened attentively and addressed all of my concerns and questions during my appointments and addressed them in my surgery. He explained clearly the procedure ahead of time and made sure to perform my surgery with my desired outcome and goals I had.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
The front desk staff were outstanding with acknowledging me and getting me checked in quickly. Dr Maxwell was outstanding and explaining my medical conditions and options for treatment. He explained my xray results in detail. I believe he is one of the best providers I have seen with the detailed explanations he gave me. He was easy to understand. I’m thankful for him and his knowledge. He gave me a cortisone injection in my shoulder at my visit as well. It was pretty much painless.

Dr. Maxwell is very kind and listens attentively to everything you have to say regarding your situation. He doesn’t jump right into surgery and offers other options. I would highly recommend Dr. Maxwell for any shoulder issues.

As newcomers to Michigan, we were initially worried about finding advanced medical care for my mother. Thankfully, our concerns were quickly alleviated through our experience with Dr. Maxwell. He demonstrated genuine compassion, listened attentively to my mother’s fears, and explained the best treatment options in clear, accessible language. Given my mother's history of heart issues and her age, we were particularly anxious. Dr. Maxwell coordinated with the cardiology team to conduct additional tests, which reassured us about her ability to handle surgery. She emerged from the procedure with flying colors, and the follow-up care was equally exceptional.
Despite the distance we travel to see Dr. Maxwell, my family firmly believes in the outstanding care we receive at My Michigan Health. We are grateful to have found such an exceptional physician.

We would speak about their wonderful professionalism, excellence in care and communication. Always listening to our needs and concerns. Sharing with us all the wonderful programs for surgical patient PT maintenance in conjunction with his sincere bedside manner. We can see a physician that is closer but my family seeks the best in care and we have found it here with Dr. Maxwell and My Michigan and will continue to take care of any medical concerns with My Michigan Health.

Very knowledgeable in his Profession. Took his time to explain what I needed to research. Gave me options to think over another Shoulder surgery. At this time, because of the Doctors suggestions, I am going to postpone having another surgery as another surgery will not solve the nerve pain I have in my upper arm to elbow.
