Again, a very nice person I just didn’t felt heard, particularly when we determined that I wasn’t a candidate for HRT. Needed a compassionate ear but felt like I didn’t fit into the clinic prescribed ‘box’ so felt ‘dismissed’ to my pcp when I did not get a full pap and exam.

I will be looking into another gynecologist for all future needs as I am 35 and feel I am to young to jump to having a hysterectomy over having painful periods with no looking into what is causing them.

Talk through c section more. Wasn’t given any notice that pressure was being applied right before baby was born; not given the option to cut umbilical cord, not given option to do skin to skin. Husband wasn’t told he could go over to baby after delivery to watch him getting weighed, measured, checked, etc

Dr. Velez has been my ob/gyn provider since 1998. He has always been an excellent provider, and at my last appointment I experienced the same exemplary level of service that I have had each time I have seen him.

Dr. Reitan treats me with the greatest care as a provider should. She listens. She takes her time with me and my concerns. She helps me understand the what ifs and when's. She reassures me she will do her best with my care.

I won't go back. I tried asking this provider for advice on whether to get the shingles vaccine. She was rude and unhelpful. I always thought of practitioners as people you could ask for medical advice. She was rude. The Women's Comfort Center is anything but comforting.

Dr. Velez was great. He made me feel like he was actually there for me and cared about my situation and how I felt. For once, I didn't walk into a doctor's office with the feeling of wasting someone's time with something that wasn't important to them.

He never made time feel rushed. Very knowledgeable and clearly outlined the available next treatment options. Was kind when I showed some nervousness towards a surgical option, even though that is ultimately what I anticipated would be the recommendation before the appointment.
