At this point I would tell them to ask for more time with the doctor so that my questions could be asked and answered. The doctor had an agenda and he showed me a chart that explained what he wanted to do, but did NOT explain other options.

I’m answering as the patient’s wife. I am sure Dr Esan is an excellent specialist. He has provided the necessary care for the device that was implanted in my husband. His people skills are definitely lacking, and perhaps aren’t essential as long as the physical needs of the patient are met. However, Dr Esan seems to forget he’s dealing with a person, not just a device. He spends a very minimum amount of time, which we’ve come to expect. What we didn’t expected was to have the probably 3 minute appointment end with, “I will see you in a year…if you are still here.”

I would highly recommend Dr Esan to anyone in need of his specialty or services. His "bedside" manner was a welcomed professionalism, whether in an office, a hospital bed or an OR room before a procedure. Someone who takes his time to truly listen, answer & explain so you understand.

I am very pleased and completely satisfied with the care provided by Dr. Opesanmi O. Esan, and the follow-up by Shannon. Dr. Esan answered all of my questions and he was familiar with my test results and medical history. He provided detailed advice for my condition, and I look forward to working with Dr. Esan for further treatment. Thank you very much.

The doctor seemed informed with my medical history. The visit was brief and my question about a time line for getting a pacemaker was answered that it depended on his surgery schedule. Looking on line it seemed it would be at least twice months out.

My appointments were always right on time. Dr. Esan gets right to the point of my visit explaining what’s going on and what plans he has to keep me going in the right direction concerning my health. I feel really good about all he has done for me
