I think she’s doing a fantastic job and I hope she stays in the area! She went out of her way to contact me about an issue I was having and was able to fit me in immediately. I have previously felt like I needed to be my own advocate for my healthcare and really make sure I was getting the appropriate care from other providers in the past. I have had some bad experiences with test not being done that needed to be done and lab results being inaccurate or a provider office called and gave me the wrong results. Had I not kept calling the offices I would not have found out about some health issues that I currently have. I feel like Dr. Hughes’s office is competent and I am excited about continuing care there.

She is one of the best. She ensures one is comfortable and relaxed. She creates an atmosphere which makes communication between patient and doctor easy. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a doctor with such qualities.

Dr Hughes has never made me feel rushed or pushed my concerns aside. She is thorough and talked to me like a friend while remaining entirely professional. Dr Hughes is an asset to St Mary's and I hope she is around for a very long time!
