The almost immediate surgery once I found out I had a deadly cancerous tumor and the constant continuing care and oversight throughout my care. The genuine concern and down to my level explanations of my care and future.

The nurse assistant:BeBe was very inviting as she escorted us to the infusion lab. She made sure we were comfortable in the room before the procedure and checked on us as the time progressed. The head nurse was extremely friendly, attentive and explained each procedure as it was administered. Thank you for being instrumental in keeping me alive with these infusions.

Everyone on staff was friendly and answered questions I had. The collaberation between doctors and other professionals helps so much. My infusion nurse, Katherine "Katie" F., was outsanding. She worked quickly and tried to make sure I was comfortable and accommodated me with the questions I h a d - she even called the MDA pharmacist, and my doctor both, to track down an answer about medication that I needed. Katie was in and out of my cubicle numerous times during my infusion and kept checking to see if there was anything I might need that she could help me with. I also appreciated how Katie took time to explain each part of my treatment. She was warm and friendly and made my experience there pleasant, which I made a point to thank her for. Katherin "Katie" F. was a blessing to me snd is the kind of professional employee who is an asset to M.D. Anderson, for sure.
