Dr. Xu is awesome. She takes the time to explain what she is observing with your eyes and retina, talks through treatment (and any options), listens to your concerns and answers questions. She is efficient with her time but doesn't make you feel rushed - very balanced.

Dr. Xu and the team at RGW in Columbia, MD was excellent. I was greeted promptly and moved through the visit very efficiently. Dr. Xu is personable and spent plenty of time explaining the images that were taken.

Dr. Lucy Xu extended the courtesy of seeing me on an urgent basis (only ~4 hours after symptoms appeared and an appointment was requested). She conducted a thorough exam, identified and explained the problem, and patiently answered questions. I am much looking forward to returning to RGW's Columbia facility for follow-up visits with Dr. Xu to continue benefiting from her medical knowledge, skill, and experience preserving vision.

Everyone we dealt with was very professional. They were able to answer all our questions and we actually understood what they were explaining. Dr, Xu was extremely helpful in informing us a new treatment and after explaining it also gave us information to bring home and read at our leisure. Overall a very rewarding experience.

Fantastic! Takes her time. Explains what she is seeing on your scans and in your eyes. Talks through treatment options. Answers all questions until you understand the answer. Switched to Dr. Xu after many years in the Chevy Chase practice (prior to the Ho Co office opening). I am just as happy with Dr. Xu as my prior retina specialist. Great practice.
