The staff at The Retina Group of Washington welcomed me as soon as I walked in. Shortly after that I was promptly examined and treated. Everyone was friendly and professional, and gave me detailed instructions and advice.

Dr. Xu was very thorough. I had surgery on Tuesday and a follow up procedure on Wednesday . The care was complete. I am satisfied so far with the level of care.

Dr. Xu was very professional, friendly, thorough with her examination, and she answered all my questions! It was truly a wonderful experience because I didn’t feel like she was rushing and had a great attitude! I felt lucky to have been assigned to see a doctor that made my visit pleasant!

Fantastic! Takes her time. Explains what she is seeing on your scans and in your eyes. Talks through treatment options. Answers all questions until you understand the answer. Switched to Dr. Xu after many years in the Chevy Chase practice (prior to the Ho Co office opening). I am just as happy with Dr. Xu as my prior retina specialist. Great practice.

Excellent! Dr. Xu was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative with explaining on what and why with my right eye issue that sometimes happen after having cataract surgery. I'm very pleased of the eye drops progress so far. Great staff at this Columbia location.

Very pleasant post op visit. Had macular hole surgery on Friday and saw Dr. Xu Sat. She removed patch and said the eye looked perfect.

First rate operation .Everybody was very good at their job, from check-in to check-out. Dr Xu explained everything to me in terms that I could understand. I left feeling much better than when I arrived.
