Everyone is friendly but professional! Easy to get an appointment! Everything is explained in terms I can understand. Dr. Barber is the best and his nurse Samantha too.

I would recommend Dr.Daniel Harber to my family and friends.He was recommended to me by my primary physician when I had to move from Southwest,Mi.As a retired RN I appreciate his knowledge and skills and listening to my concerns. He seems to like being a Doctor and cares about his patients.

I am trying to be proactive and do a lot of research about my issues, I hope that Dr. Harber will recommend anything that could give me answers and reassurance that I’m not going to have a stroke with the mount of carotid blockage I have. I do realize it’s not predictable but I am assuming I am being treated sufficiently to be as preventive as possible. I am doing all I can as far as diet, exercise and medicines. He has been helpful and explains things. The appointment is very brief.

He didn't explain things unless I asked specific questions. He seemed dismissive.. even as he came into the room. I'd tell my family and friends to bring questions written down and let him know up front you have questions. I'd estimate his time in the room at the 2 visits there to have been less than 5 minutes each

Dr. Harber is an excellent cardiologist. Coming from [City, State] I was nervous about switching to a small town provider but I couldn't be more pleased with his knowledge, genuine care, and the fact that he familiarized himself with my case before my first visit and has continued to remain engaged and interested in getting me the best care possible. His office staff does seem overwhelmed from the receptionists to the nurses. I imagine because of the volume of the workload. I don't know if additional cardiologists are needed to lessen the load or if it's additional support staff that are needed but something needs to change. I waited four hours at the hospital for lab work to be ordered on a Friday for a surgery I had on Monday. The orders should have been put in the day the surgery was scheduled (Wednesday) the hospital reception, myself and through the messaging system requested the orders to be put in from 8am to noon and I still had to drive to the office to get them ordered.

Dr. Harber is a very good man and very good at what he does. As for staff Rude confrontational struggle to get the information you’re asking for. I think the hospitals not sure what you called but words play to you about peoples attitudes and such are letting employees say pretty much anything they want because you’ve already been warned not to say anything that they may not like find it shocking what this hospital has to say to the patients calling in! Very few of us here by choice we are sick not sure many times what’s going on and to be scolded immediately when our phones connect. People skills you don’t have any. People should be talk to on a person-to-person not be lumped into a few bad souls running your mouth. I

Dr. Harber is knowledgeable and always listens to my concerns. He answers question thoroughly in ways that are clear and understandable. He knows my level of anxiety when I am in his office and never dismisses it, but rather addresses my fears and anxiety with compassion and patience. I have always left his office having felt “heard.” I also leave feeling educated and aware of my overall health (which has been excellent so far except for tachycardia due mainly to my anxiety) and I have always felt encouraged in my spirit. While he does have an energetic, “fast-paced” personality and way of interacting, I never feel rushed during my appointment. He has consistently asked me if I have any more questions or concerns I would like to talk about before he wraps up our appointment.

This is the first time I’ve seen Dr Harper, I think he’s courteous, caring, seems to be very good at his job. I like him and have confidence in him which is very important to me at this time since I don’t think I’m progressing as quickly as I should be.
