What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I have to say I was skeptical going to this appt., given my past history with my former Dr. at Behavioral Health. I always thought “Is this the best they can do providing Mental Health professionals in Alpena?” So I was leary and I’m happy to say I needn’t be. Sydney is a consumate professional. I was impressed by her knowledge already of my mental health history. She seems to have a grasp on drugs for depression & anxiety & I haven’t always had that in the past. You have no idea just that gives me the confidence I need in a provider, not only on my initial visit but also going forward. She already had a game plan, but rather TELLING me how it was going to be, she DISCUSSED it with me and gave me the reasoning behind it. For the first time in years I feel that I am in great, qualified, capable hands. Thank you for hiring her. I know so many will benefit greatly from her care & knowledge. I am grateful to be one of them.

I was extremely apprehensive at first about seeking care. Sydney made me feel comfortable and heard and really wanted to help address my concerns. Excellent caregiver and very blessed to have met her she has helped me and my family tremendously.

True to form, Sarah Rings' professionalism, knowledge and friendliness were top notch at my recently attended med. management appointment. Sarah's attentiveness, relatability and down-to-earth nature make her one of my favorite providers. I highly recommend Sarah to any family and friends.

Courtney and Sheila are great at getting messages to Sarah when I need to. They are very caring. Sarah is great. She actually listens to you. If you don't understand a question she will explain it a different way so you understand what she is asking. She has you be part of the decision making in your treatment plan. She will ask if you think a med is working or maybe try something different. She'll ask when you'd like to come back and give a suggestion. She always reminds me that if I need anything in the mean time to reach out.

Ms. Rings is a very caring, in depth provider. She is very thorough, understanding and easy to talk too. She does not make you feel rushed or like you’re just a number to get in and out. She takes her time and makes sure she understands where you’re coming from and vise versa she makes sure you understand what she is saying and telling you. She had a positive attitude and great bedside manner. I would recommend her to family and friends in a heartbeat.

She is a very good resource and I do recommend her and her office to quite a few people that I have ran into along with family members that she has been instrumental in helping me and I believe that she would be a great resource to anyone else.

They are amazing there. I am grateful I started going to behavioral health it's been wonderful after [ ] I went into a very dark place. And Behavioral health has helped me tremendously!! The staff there are all very wonderful

Sydney was great, very empathetic and supportive, I wish that she offered therapy and not just medication management. The waiting room was rather unpleasant(too warm and not very relaxing. Thankfully i wasnt in there very long and sydney’s office was a much better environment.

Ryan Hartman actively listens, takes time to answer questions and explains treatment options clearly and works with me on a treatment plan. He is a nice person to talk to. The front desk is always friendly and helpful.

My family knows I have been seeing Sarah for awhiles… and are very happy with her. As I am as well. If I have questions or concerns about anything , she has even replied back to messages, which is fantastic for me with memory issues, bc I tend to forget a lot🙌🏽She’s soo helpful 🌻

Sarah always greets me with a beautiful smile, and that always puts me in a place where I feel I can express my feelings. She’s a wonderful person in all the staff at the hospital. Treats me with respect. It’s a beautiful place to go. You need someone to talk to! I would definitely recommend Sarah for anyone that needs professional help!

Sydney was awesome she spent so much time with me on my first appointment it was amazing. She did so much research and double check and triple check and quadruple check before she gave me a prescription well too.. and even then she was still doing research as thoughts popped into her head and she canceled the one script and ordered another because she felt it would suit me much better then the one she had prescribed in the beginning. That meant so much to me I really appreciate her already so so much.

Nancy is the bomb!! She is professional and knowledgeable about mental health including addiction recovery. Nancy has been great about helping meet my MH goals. She does an excellent job coordinating my care with my provider, Sarah Rings, who is also pretty bomb. Nancy makes me feel heard, validated, and advocates for me as well as for my care that I receive. She has also taught me a lot about some of the events in my life as well as how my thinking can impact my emotional state and overall MH. Sometimes she get me all up in my feels but I suppose I need that sometimes. She always assures I am emotionally regulated though before leaving her session which I appreciate so I’m not ugly crying all over da place. Nancy is ethical and has earned my trust which is a big deal for me. I highly recommend her but don’t be taking them afternoon spots because I need em lol. Jk. Nancy is great so is Behavioral health.

She and the staff are very knowledgeable and willing to work very hard to help me understand different avenues of communication and learning tools. She listens very well and has been a terrific teacher and professional with the ability to provide resources for me to understand and research at a moment’s notice.

That she is truly amazing she listens to me. Takes the time doesn’t make me feel rushed has a soft voice she makes me feel safe to talk to her. I really appreciate and respect her. She one of the best Nurse Practitioners I’ve met and had on my heath care team. I would 100% recommend her.
