Dr. Berhanu is truly exceptional! She took the time to genuinely listen to my concerns and fully understand the journey I’ve been on with my condition. She then crafted a thoughtful, strategic treatment plan, carefully explaining each aspect—covering potential side effects and providing a realistic timeline for progress.
This level of comprehensive care is a first for me. While many doctors may excel in certain areas, Dr. Berhanu exceeded all expectations, delivering on every front. Her care, professionalism, and empathetic approach are nothing short of outstanding. I cannot speak highly enough of her!

Dr. Berhanu was terrific. She remembered information from my last appointment and I really appreciated that. We talked about my current concerns. She explained the best thing was to take Xrays of my left wrist, knee and my right hand where I have at least one trigger finger. She suggested physical therapy which I start next week. And recommended me seeing an eye doctor once a year to ensure I was not having negative effects of Hydroxychloroquine. When Dr Rosenberg chose Dr Berhanu for me when he retired, I thought he was going to be a very hard act to follow. Dr Berhanu was the best gift he could give me!

So let me start with I left this beautiful soul doctor office with not only a ton, uplifted from my shoulders, but a smile on my face and tears of joy. Dr. Berhanu Not only listened to everything from when my problems started, which was over a decade ago. She also acknowledged and noticed. Other things that I did not even know was possibly a problem. She was phenomenal And amazing all in one words could never express the gratitude and comfort that I feel today. I also would like to include I never leave reviews simply because I have either Forgotten to, or was not interested to do so, but I am so grateful because of the crazy unfair, unprofessional journey that I have experience with other rheumatologist from Georgetown university hospital and George Washington hospital center that I truly was ready and willing to just live in pain and never see another doctor. Dr. Berhanu Has most definitely changed that for me I will forever recommend her and find a way to pay my bill just so I can see her even if I have to pay out-of-pocket. Thank you Dr. Berhanu.

Dr. Berhanu listens well and is very thoughtful in what she says and how she presents information. She clearly demonstrates her extensive knowledge and is very empathic. I would recommend her very strongly to any patient experiencing difficulties in the rheumatology area.
