Absolutely phenomenal doctor. Never had a better experience than when I’m with Dr. Mathen. He listens, looks you in the eye and explains everything. Asks if you have questions and then answers all of them.

Dr Mathen takes the time to listen to the patient’s concerns, and he treats the whole person, rather than just prescribing medications to ameliorate (or even mask) symptoms. He looks for ways to get to the physiological root of presenting problems.

As a patient with longterm chronic symptoms,it's a challenge to come up with a treatment strategy to keep symptoms at bay while determining the cause. Dr Mathen also encourages the patient to consider lifestyle and thought patterns that contribute to wellness.
