Nothing against her personally but I wanted to see a psychiatrist. Going to an appointment with Darlene is just like talking to an acquaintance. I appreciate the medicine management but I’m not getting any skills to handle or avoid my depression occurrences.

He was very rude and condescending. He took everything I said and turned it all around. He upset me! He made me cry! I’m on medication, I shouldn’t be crying! I couldn’t even understand him! He was typing all throughout my session. He was interrupting me. He can’t even spell!!! I will not be going back to him! I’ll have to look outside my hospital in order to try and find a caring doctor who won’t talk down to me.

I think I kind of just answered that question in the previous box, but Dr. Metcalf was very sympathetic with the struggle I have gone through and understands my sense of urgency to get an answer on what’s going on. Then we can set the plan to fix it. Secondly, I called in on one day and was able to see him the next. Unfortunately, my frustration with some of the neurologist, downtown, as I had to wait seven months to get into see a doctor. In my opinion, that’s unacceptable.
