Following my visit, I was able to walk (about 2 miles) the next day. Prior to the treatment, I was unable to walk a block without serious discomfort.

The Doctor was very nice, she explained the procedure. She was able to alleviate some of the pain until the procedure can be completed.

When I saw the doctor today, I was told to wear a regular shoe to help reduce the swelling. I was told that the hospital shoe allows swelling. I have to go back to work in two days. I wish I would’ve been told to wear a regular shoe earlier. I have been off work for 27 days. I would’ve preferred to try to wear a regular shoe sooner than two days before my return to full-time work. I wear a work boot and work outdoors all year long. My foot is still really swollen and an earlier notice would have been greatly appreciated regarding wearing a regular shoe.

I feel I was not treated for something that seems should have a simple fix. I was told to go online to find a pad to wear. The one I was given is not working and they don’t sell anything in the stores that helps, either.
