Dr. Mullins was on time and very courteous, until I told her I held a Ph.D. in mathematics whereupon she appeared somewhat insulted. I think I used the words “not a real doctor” to refer to myself, but she may have felt I tried to insult her, which was not the case as I assumed she had an MD. I would recommend her, but not your hospital overall.

The Doctor did a great job with both procedures explaining everything. The first time a nurse did not put a mask on. I said something. This time he told a different nurse to mask up. I appreciated that. During the procedure had had an experience that they needed to stop the procedure. He made sure I was ok and stable after that happened. He listened when I said I don’t feel right.

He is well versed and current in treatment modalities for his specialty. He understood that treatment decisions for an ECOG challenged 86 year old patient were needed. Dr Bhaskarla explained current treatment options and provided risks and benefits of each option. Dr Bhaskarla was sensitive to the patients hearing challenges and adjusted his speech accordingly.
