Dr. Southgate was very thorough, he not only looked at the X-rays but listened patiently to my story as to how I was feeling with regards to my knee pain and to what had happened that facilitated the pain. He examined my knee and explained his clinical findings to the extent that I as a layperson could understand. After having considered all the facts he ordered an MRI of the knee. Dr. Southgate did not base his findings on just the x-rays, he took into consideration the overall bigger picture. What makes Dr. Southgate an amazing physician is not only his esteemed knowledge but his ability to relate to the patient and to make the patient feel that they have been heard. I felt that I was truly in a patient centered environment. Thank you, Dr. Southgate!
