The doctor was so friendly. She explained to me very carefully what her diagnosis was and her findings in my urine. I was so nervous as a new patient what to expect, however she explained the medication carefully and home care. The doctor even provided more home care in my discharge paperwork. The doctor told me I’m welcome to come back if I was still in pain. Those words were so important to me. As a new patient it’s scary to start over. However Dr. Ali did not make me feel like a number. I felt like a human. Knowing I was welcomed back made me feel safe. I also received a follow up phone call from nurse Jennie. She was so pleasant on the phone and gave me advice on how to find a new medical facility/primary care doctor. I shared with her that was a new patient and trying to find a doctor for me and my husband, nurse Jennie went out her way and explained her passed experiences as well and I felt relatable to her and that she actually cared. She also said I was welcome to come back if I was ever in pain. It’s nice to know the doctor, nurses, and the representatives are all on the same page to assure there patients are welcome no matter what. Thank you Northwestern Lake Bluff team. I feel welcome in the community.
