Firstly, if she had a private practice, I would ask her to become my primary. Secondly, her willingness to ACTIVELY listen and respond to my every symptom and question, and probe for more information to result in a “total picture” of what were all my issues, Thirdly, her physical examination was thorough and thoughtful. Fourthly, she prescribed a total plan, explaining what further testing was required, and expected results. Fifthly, when the widely-prescribed X-ray could not be performed at Glenview due to an equipment breakdown, she provided the treatment plan with scripts and OTC medicines, pointing out preferred medications for my conditions, explaining what each would do. She arranged for the xRay at another Northwestern location. Sixthly, when X-ray results were available (perhaps within an hour of my C-Ray at Deerfield, Dr Bake called and advised on results, confirming treatment plan should proceed as discussed. Seventhly, today, 24 hours after seeing Dr. Blake, after taking 1st and second round of medications recommended, many symptoms relieved or moderated, and that is a success in my view for nasty and unpredictable respiratory issues. Dr. Blake is an asset to Nortwestern and the Community. Feinberg Medical school could benefit from Dr Blake conducting classes on how to become a complete physician. . .

He was kind and took the time to explain to my son the things he needed to do for his ear and sinus infections. Explained the medications to take. When to follow up etc. My son will be away at college next year and having doctors speak to him and treat him like an adult is so helpful in preparing him to do these things on his own.

Quick response time- I received a call within 10 minutes. Understood my issue and asked me a lot of questions for a diagnosis. Professional. He explained why he was making the diagnosis he did, and what steps/ medications I should take
