Not all surgeons show up to help patients emotionally as well as surgically. While he’s not a therapist, he’s direct helps get over anxious thoughts about surgery. The most important aspect is the surgery success, but confidence in the surgeon begins with their demeanor.

This was an initial consultation, so I cannot evaluate his surgical capabilities. He was very friendly, listened to my concerns, answered all my questions. He put my mind at ease and we agreed on a course of action.

Great explanations of the surgery procedure and recovery period in plain English, absolutely unexpectedly superb bedside manner for a surgeon, really bubbly confident and friendly personality that immediately puts you at ease. He also made sure I did not begin the surgery until he and his team had answered all my questions and addressed any of my concerns.

Got terrific care from Dr. Mueller. Surgery came out well, with near-0 post-op pain and no complications (though the surgery itself was relatively minor).
