First time going to the survivorship clinic and Karen was more than helpful. She was compassionate and provided a lot of comprehensive material to help me understand my specific plan of care. Very grateful to this team.

She has been extremely helpful in guiding me through my efforts to improve my well-being following more than a year of cancer treatment, including surgery. Annually she provides me a comprehensive updated Treatment Summary and Follow Up Care Plan summarizing important information from my previous treatments and reviews and explains the details. This is in addition to reviewing my current medical condition and providing advice on further improvements I can make to further improve my situation.

Karen Kinahan has a relaxed and down-to-earth manner which encourages openness. During my Survivorship Program enrollment she brought a fresh set of eyes as we scrutinized my medical history and treatment. She avoided a rote review, suggesting tweaks (not wholesale changes) to a few aspects of my post-mastectomy regimen. She suggested some questions I could ask my NWM providers now and in the future. She also straightened out some duplicative appointments I'd scheduled. It's too bad I won't see her again until next year!

Ms Kinahan was very nice. However she seemed unfamiliar with my case and not sure what to do with me. I am not currently doing any treatment which likely had something to do with it. I appreciate the kindness and time spent but I am not clear how the program will support me.
