I consider my yearly appointment with Survivorship to be one of the most important appointments I go to. It is at this appointment that I can ask questions about my care, share ideas about what I think would be good for me, and get a roadmap plan for the year ahead. When I come home from that meeting, I have an action plan for the next 12 months. I have the referrals I need, the advice I was seeking, and a way to achieve my goals. When navigating the healthcare system, this kind of help is extremely useful & valuable. Also, she is very kind & friendly & puts me at ease. I feel like I am speaking with a knowledgeable professional who is also a friend.
