Northwestern has put a lot on Primary Doctors. Since they changed the way they want primary doctors and their patients a couple years ago. They thought they were helping the situation but I personally feel they are more overloaded now.

He takes the time to answer all of my questions and usually answers them before I can ask. He explains things so that I can understand them. He makes me feel totally at ease and comfortable, even when talking about an uncomfortable topic.

Dr. Carter is great. He’s always on time for appointments and takes the time to speak with you and hear you out. He’s down to earth and provides sound advice. I’ve really enjoyed having him as my PCP
