Dr. Carsten has always been and always will be the best doctor around. I’ve gone to him ever since I was a child. I hate going to hospitals or check-ups just for the sole reason that I’m afraid someone will tell me I’m dying, but he has a calming presence that puts my worries at bay and making every doctors appointment a breeze. If I could rate him a million out of 10, I would.

I really like his manner. He listens, doesn't rush you, explains everything in a way that you can understand and gives suggestions on how to relieve your symptoms.

He was very considerate as to my back pain and encouraged me to continue with physical therapy. He prescribed a med to relieve the pain…and he LISTENED to me.

I originally thought Dr Carsten understood my description of my issue on my recent visit, but then After Visit Summary containing the order for physical therapy said my main problem was back pain, which is not what we discussed at all- I came about leg and foot cramps and he asked if I had back pain. I said I had had a herniated disc in 2000 and no longer had pain related to it. He decided that the disc problem was the source of my recent frequent muscle cramps. I'm worried that the physical therapist is not going to know what to treat. Other than that, he was at least pleasant to talk to.
