My initial appointment with Dr. Axe was very thorough and he took the time to go through and review my past medical records. He asked important questions regarding my health and and others in my immediate family. He reinforced that we would work together as partners and is available to answer any questions that I may have. I left the appointment feeling very comfortable and immediately made a 3 month follow up appointment.

Not very friendly, doesn’t listen, dismisses my concerns, tells me everything I’m doing wrong and nothing I’m doing right. We’ll be switching doctors

This was my first visit with Dr. Axe. He adequately addressed my presenting problem but didn't stop there. He also reviewed my medical history, found and corrected an error in the electronic record, and suggested further actions I might take to monitor existing conditions and improve my heath.

Seemed dismissive of my needs and questions, especially when I had follow up questions about a new medication I was starting after the appointment was over. Brushed off my concerns and told me that I needed to 'focus on getting better.' I think he just wanted the copay. The follow up visit I had with him was 32$ just for him to tell me to go see a psychiatrist. He asked what side effects the new medication had, and when I told him, he asked if I was telling him because I wanted them fixed or just so he could write it down.
