Dr. Stepan strikes me as a no-nonsense type of person and the type of doctor I usually have a hard time with. But that all changed when I let down my guard and showed her how terrified I was with the procedure I was about to have. True fear. Doctor said something to me no other doctor has ever said to me: “We will take care of you. You will be alright.”’ It was the tone of voice and the look in her eyes that reassured me. I instantly felt better because I believed her.

After a previous diagnosis requiring cervical spine surgery, Dr. Ganju reviewed my case and decided I did not need surgery. She recomended physical therapy and an EMG study because my problems are more likely nerve related. Since I an currently awaiting 3 orthopedic surgeries for multiple joints which have been delayed due to a heart attack, Dr Ganju Gare me the best medical news I have had in years and prevented a potentially unnecessary spine surgery. I am grateful.
