Very conscientious, professional, sweet, incredibly knowledgeable...I initially went in for a sigmoid colectomy. But when she went in, she found endometriosis. Upon removing it and seeing the condition of my colon, which wasn’t as bad as originally thought, she could not justify the original surgery. Total blessing

I drive all the way from Springfield, IL to see Dr. Russo. This is not because there is a shortage of OBGYNs in my area, but because she is absolutely the best at what she does. Dr. Russo ordered an ultrasound on a fibroid that was discovered earlier last year, when other OBGYN's refused to do so and said I should wait 6 months for a follow-up. Because Dr. Russo ordered the ultrasound, we were able to see that I now have a second fibroid, which went undetected in the first ultrasound. Dr. Russo also ordered a hormonal panel for me after I had a miscarriage in January. Again, other OBGYNs in my area refused to do so. The results from the blood work were paramount as we now know that I have low AMH levels and will likely need to puruse IVF. I cannot even begin to express how thankful I am to have Dr. Russo as my OBGYN.
