Straight forward, concise and civil. Direct in approach- not a bad thing, if you desire a no nonsense physician and don't require much handholding. ( my preference actually). I found Dr. Shepard open, but not terribly engaging. Listened to my recap of events and offered supportive feedback of test results.

I've been to two other neurologist this past year with no good results. Except one I had an important test, EMG, but no follow up with her at another location. With abnormal nerve reactions, Dr Shepard took the time out to follow up immediately!

He’s been treating me for a long time and I sometimes go out of town for a long period of time and need Neurologists where I’m staying and I feel in good hands when I come back to him. I’ve been at Mayo, Cleveland Clinic, and Stanford.
