I had a very productive initial consultation beginning with John (he said he is one of the athletic trainers who works with Dr. Bare). He was able to answer a very extensive list of questions which I had written out prior to my visit. He explained the next steps necessary (MRI and clearance with my PCP) before surgery would take place. I then conversed with Dr. [ ] who further explained that the choice of protocol would depend on results of MRI. Dr. Bare further suggested that we meet in person rather than by phone once the results of the MRI are available, so that I could see in person the results of the MRI. I considered both my conversations with Dr. Bare and John to be straightforward, understandable, and productive.

Dr. Bare had an excellent bedside manner. Spoke with my 12 year old daughter in such a way that made her feel at ease, making her a lot leas nervous. Also took the time to speak with her and provide excellent education/teaching regarding the injury, and the plan moving forward. Very compassionate and caring towards her and some very nervous parents!

I felt the doctor was a little bit in a hurry (I guess since he was running behind time) - he did listen and the outcome was as expected - sending me for an MRI.

Dr. Bare was very pleasant, professional and through. Spent time getting to know me and my history. Explained his diagnosis and the MRI images to me in detail. Advised of my options and also discussed his thoughts and recommendations. Advised of the surgical procedure, follow up, possible PT and recovery time. Very relatable and pleasant demeanor. Showed compassion and concern for my wife who is battling cancer ( visible Chemo and radiation side effects) and was with me during the surgical consult. Extremely impressed with Dr. Bare and his staff. Highly recommended!

Dr. Bare is an outstanding surgeon with a first-class bedside manner. He listens to his patient, provides treatment options, and ultimately lets the patient decide.

Dr Bare had great bedside manner and was able to answer all of my questions. He counseled me with a number of care options and treatment. All of his team members were incredibly helpful and friendly as well.

His surgery on my shoulder was extremely successful, so much so that I am planning to have a shoulder replacement on the other shoulder soon.
