This practice solved all of our problems & my husband said being with them is sheer joy. What could be better than that????

I expressed concern over a very lengthy waiting period for a referral to Shands. They intervened and within 3 days I had an appointment scheduled for less than one month away rather than having to wait ANOTHER 5 months

From start to finish making appt, being taken in by nurse, to seeing the dr., to checking out and making next appointment, this by far of all of the Dr's I see is the best..I couldn't ask for anything better..the receptionist and nurses are just as awesome as Dr. Stachura..I would recommend them to family friends anyone! I'm so lucky I was referred to Dr Stachura and his staff! You walk out of there really feeling like you've been cared for and treated like family.

Dr. Zachary Stachura is a very knowledgeable and empathetic doctor.

The doctor was kind and very informative. I left feeling like I was in excellent care!

I waited in the exam/consult room long enough that I was considering leaving my appt. Because of the delay with pc referral at check-in and the wait to see the NP once in the consult room, I was out of time. I am able to do doctor appts on my lunch hour. This appt was spent waiting; by the time I saw the NP, it was time for me to leave to go back to work.She didn't have enough time to explain anything. I asked her about my cholesterol level; she didn't have my lab results. When I asked her why not, she then left the room to locate them. I don't understand why my lab results were not located and reviewed before she saw me. Otherwise, what is the point of my visit? She did find them but time had run out for her to adequately explain them except to say the levels were high. I only found out through the scheduling nurse a week later that the labs were supposed to have been taken while fasting. Nowhere did it say that on the lab order and at no time did the NP ask if I'd been fasting. I took those blood panels at 5 pm after a work day without knowing a fast was required.That appointment was a complete waste of my time. My questions regarding cholestetol should've been answered; my labs should have been located and reviewed prior to the NP meeting me, and it should have been relayed to me that fasting was required to obtain accurate lipid levels. The pc referral should have been resolved week prior to my appt. That appt was so unprofessional and time-consuming without producing any worthwhile formation that if a similar experience occurred again, I'd find another cardiologist, despite very much liking the one I have at SMG.

Dr. Stachura is an excellent doctor who reviewed my history and CAT scan before seeing me-an accurate diagnosis with an aggressive treatment plan.
