I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Ranum. I’ve been his patient for over 30 years, and there is truly no one I would trust more with my care. He is everything you hope for in a doctor—knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, patient, and genuinely invested in the people he cares for. He listens. He never makes you feel rushed or dismissed, and he takes the time to figure things out, even when you show up with something a little unusual! 😊 After more than three decades, he knows me incredibly well, and there is such a comfort in having a doctor who knows your history and truly knows you as a person. His combination of experience, intuition, kindness, and humor is something very special. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had him as my doctor for all these years. Thirty-plus years of consistently exceptional care says more than any five-star review ever could. He is simply the absolute best, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

The way SSMH treated my doctor was so bad and when he leaves I will follow him. I will not seek any other medical treatment from any other doctor except him

It is so valuable to have had a provider know family history for so long. He knows my history related to my family history. We are so very lucky he cares about as many people as he does. Dr. Ranum is simply the best. Knowledgeable, caring, and somehow makes time to listen to concerns and answer questions, doing his best to understand before moving forward with a plan. I always trust that he will recommend treatment and follow-up that’s best for me. He has a gift for getting to know and relating to patients. It will be a tremendous loss when he eventually opts to retire.
