I would highly recommend the office of Dr Todd Holtz to anyone who needs to see a gastroenterologist he's kind understanding his staff is very kind and very understanding all my questions have always been answered by both staff and the doctor so I would highly recommend this office to anyone who needs to see a gastroenterologist

I received excellent care last visit as a plan was made to investigate an issue that I thought was simply part of another diagnosis. It was explained in terms that I could understand and I agreed with the plan.

Prepare your questions in advance. Dr. is good but fast. I didn't really feel rushed but he didn't waste any time either. He will answer all your questions thoroughly. Nice doctor.

What could have been done to improve your experience?
It would have been nice if someone would have called me to set up appointment. I waited two weeks then called my PCP. They said they were sure the office would call me. Didn't happen. A week later I did call the office myself and was finally given an appointment. Horrendous way to deliver health care.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
The receptionist (or nurse working that area) was awesome and helped me with a non-medical problem/issue. I appreciated not only her help but her attitude, smiles, laughter and friendliness. She put me at ease. She is an asset to your office.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Nothing specifically, it was a great appointment, and everyone was knowledgeable and efficient. I was pleased with check-in, the Dr's arrival, total amount of time spent with the Dr, scheduling and every aspect. My only suggestion would be when the Dr needs to cancel an appointment, it should be rescheduled within a good & reasonable time-frame. My appointment was set a year in advance for April. I was called and they said the Dr would not be in the office and it needed to be rescheduled. That was fine, not an issue. But then the first available appointment was June 24? Nearly 3 months after my original appointment? Not particularly an issue for me as my health is stable and I am doing well. But it could have been a problem for someone who is actively having severe issues. Please note, this is NOT a complaint. Not a problem for me. Just something to be aware of for those who are in acute situations.

Dr. Holtz is a wonderful doctor and a great listener! His entire staff is both helpful and friendly!
