I brought my sister in for a neurological exam. It was best determined that she has Frontal Temporal Dementia, which did surprise me as a caregiver. We were told there is “no treatment”. My disappointment is there were also no recommendations, resources given, for a patient to be at only age of [AGE]. I have on my own looked into the dementia institute and am reading about resources and assistance to help navigate my sister on this path of what I know as a [OCCUPATION], a grueling diagnosis. This office needs to offer better education for families

My questions were unanswered and I felt more confused after than before i went in. The visit was not what I thought it was. So it was hard to answer her question if what was I hoping to get out of it or why was I there.

Susan seemed unfriendly at most. Abrupt at times. She was knowledgeable . Explained results of testing, but at times over our heads. Asked her to send results to our other Dr. she told us to make copies and send them to whoever needed them. Thought that was quite unprofessional. We waited 7 months for an appointment and were quite disappointed with her attitude. We are confident with the diagnosis.
