I get all of my healthcare needs met through RENOWN, even though I work at another hospital in town. Dr. Sunstrom has been my physician for 30 years. This was my last appointment with him which is very very sad for me because he knows me and my history. I’m super happy for him. He deserves it, but it’s a huge hit to the community.

Dr. SUNDSTROM has been my Primary Care physician since he came to Reno. He has saved my life 3 times. He also cared for my husband who is now in Heaven. We first meet Dr. SUNDTROM in Lincoln City, Oregon. He was in Residency. He treated my husband for a injury that would not stop bleeding. I feel blessed by Our Lord to have been under his care for decades. His retirement is DEFINITELY deserved. He has given me the name of a dr. within the Renown system in Carson City. I've already made an appointment with her. I'm deeply saddened to know this was my last appointment under his brilliant care. I have an extremely complicated medical history. I've always viewed his care as the orchestra conductor of all of my Specialists. He managed to arrive at conclusions that have kept me alive. I can only pray this next dr. is willing to be the conductor and detective of my medical issues. God Bless Dr. Sundstrom as he closes one door and opens another.
