It may take a while to get in, I had a 3 week wait for a referral. I was seen and attended to on my initial visit in clinic to which I was satisfied.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
A young, new general surgeon that seems to possess very good doctor's skills; and with whom I had somewhat unsatisfactory experience with my previous, early-Covid, post hernia recovery instructions, which may have related to UMich Hospital Alpena's rush to get me quickly released, or post surgery incomplete release instructions, and/or myown lack of questions or misunderstanding regarding post hernia recovery exercise exertions. I would probably recommend Dr. LeMaster unreservedly, given good current surgery outcomes (my second, current, surgery with Dr. LeMaster upcoming) and Alpena area's scarcity of general surgery doctors (i.e. long wait time for new patients). I like Dr. LeMaster personally and wish her well in her chosen profession.

Doctor Lemaster and her nurse Tina were extremely helpful, considerate, and extremely welcoming. Definitely makes going to see a general surgeon less intimidating.

Yes the staff was very friendly, the wait time to be seen was the shortest I’ve ever experienced at a medical appointment, everyone listened and Dr LeMaster was extremely friendly and addressed all my concerns in a caring manner

The surgeon should have told me about the injury to my small intestine via cautery while I was still in the hospital.
