Dr bowen is the best doctor, she listens to you, she cares about her patients, she takes time to listen she don't rush you out of the office

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Bowen is the best. She is so great with my child and always tries to make her feed comfortable. She always listens to my questions and genuinely cares. Her schedule may be full but if my child needs to be seen she will make the time needed to see her. We are so thankful for her.

Dr. Bowen is very respectful. She includes the child in the conversion, so they learn how to navigate going to doctor appointments in the future.

Dr. Bowen and her clinical staff, Chelsea and Melissa are consistently phenomenal. They ALWAYS make not just my son but myself feel welcome and heard, at his last appointment he needed to get a "poke", which he does not particularly do well for. Melissa heard the Mom bargaining going on and was a great support to both he and I, before, during and after. I'm so thankful and appreciative to know that I have this great team to help care for my child.

Dr. Bowen is hands down the best pediatrician! She’s respectful, cares, listens and takes care of issues as if her patients were her own children. We love her!

I would definitely recommend. The only pitfall, I would say almost every place is facing perhaps due to staffing, is call back time once took a while for a non emergency/non life threatening question. What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I would say that Dr. Bowen is a phenomenal physician. She is very laid back, listens to any concerns and if I am ever hesitant with something she is great at educating and explaining things in a way I understand. She acts quickly and is on top of things, she heard a heart murmur when my baby was 2 months old and referred us right away to pediatric cardiology. She calmed me down when I was afraid. She supports decisions I make and I always leave the office feeling like I’m doing a great job with my children! My kids enjoy visits with her.

Dr.Bowen she is a great doctor I would highly recommend her to anyone. She always listen and explain everything very good. She makes sure you understand everything also. She takes time to listen and look everything over.

Dr. Bowen has been great to work with whenever we have concerns and is always there to provide excellent care. Kenza really does well with her too. She was talking about how silly it was when she thought there was a cow in her ear after her 4 year check up.

Dr. Bowen listened patiently and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed. She made me feel very comfortable.

What could have been done to improve your experience?
I expressed my concern for giving my one year old so many vaccines at once. She urged me otherwise. My son then suffered a reaction to his vaccines and we weren’t able to identify which one gave it to him since he was given so many at once. I understand she’s a doctor but I wish my wishes as a mother would have been listened to.

Answered my questions Never rushing through the appointment Gave me guidance on things I wasnt thinking of that I needed to know Explained the autism screening well Always very approachable and helpful! It’s apparent Dr. Bowen cares about her patients, which I of course really appreciate

Everything was great. I can't think of anything that would make it better. Grateful my child has an amazing pediatrician like Doctor Bowen and the wonderful nurses and staff that she has in her office. Amazing team and all their hard work is greatly appreciated!

What could have been done to improve your experience?
We have felt like we are not able to get same day appointments when we need to be seen. When we talk to the nurses, they are often lacking empathy or are dismissive of our concerns. We are feeling like access to the doctor is limited and we don’t feel seen or heard. We are currently exploring other offices because we need a better patient-provider relationship.

Dr. Bowen is outstanding in all aspects - knowledgable, capable, empathetic, professional and a strong advocate for children who are her patients. Chelsea is terrific and always on her game. So is Amanda. They never miss a beat.

Each appointment we make, for any of our children who come to the office, is always changed (no exaggeration). It'd be nice to not have to reschedule all the time.

Dr Bowen really took the time to answer all mine and my husband questions regarding potty training. We appreciate her time!

I appreciate the kindness of the staff. Didn’t feel like they treated me at another box on their checklist.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
I would love to see healthcare providers more educated on offering natural support/holistic remedies for the body durning sickness over an immediate prescription to fill (or at least talk about both).

Very quick to respond to the portal. Was able to squeeze us in for a next day appt. Very thorough in appt and gave options with explanations for each.

The way Shannon listens to my son and me as a parent to help address any of our concerns is wonderful! My son trusts her and she connected in a way to explain things for him to understand.
