What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I'm not understanding why a doctor's office will not see patients who are ill. Why have I been limited to virtual appointments? I have had virtual appointments that because I had not been seen in person I have become even more ill because dr was not able to listen to my lungs, heart, etc. to determine the proper course of action. Even as a follow-up visit, not being able to be seen in person because you are on antibiotics. Any other dr I have ever had experience with (either myself, my children, my husband, my parents) the dr at EACH visit listens to heart & lungs, looks into eyes, ears, mouth no matter what the patient is there for.

Although I had dropped off paper work previously this was my first official visit with Dr. Phala. I had a very positive experience with the office staff and I thought Dr. Phala was great!

Dr Sefako is great,he really cares,he listens, ask questions, shows support. Dr Sefako has really helped me thru my anxiety and depression. When I started a new med had lots of questions would send messages looking for help and answers he always replied the same day which means so much.I highly recommend Dr Sefako!!!

I like every one that works there! I let everyone know how much he cares. He doesn’t rush you out . Always asks if we covered everything and if there’s anything else . I would refer anybody that needed either one.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Was notified that i could not get my new cpap without a sleep study in app. No one called to set it up. I called, left a message for the nurse to call me back, no response. After a month, I called and left another message to set up the sleep study, no response (no one returned my call again) Called 2-3 weeks ago during a Friday morning to the receptionist ~10 am, no one picked up. Called another day to the receptionist and explained everything and since then I have had the previous normal responses. I've been VERY frustrated with the lack of responses.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Phala is wonderful and is always concerned about my health, my medical history is very difficult and at times confusing due to pain and prior surgery problems. He always takes his time to make sure that my medical needs are met.

Dr Sefako is one of the best Drs I've ever dealt with. He is careing, compassionate, kind and always seems interested in what I have to say. As for his support staff, whenever I leave a message for him or his MA to get back with me by phone it has NEVER happened yet!!!! That is very unfortunate because whenever I go in to his office I just love the care and attention I receive.

The door was locked almost 2 minutes after my scheduled 7:45 appointment. The wait time in the lobby just to see Dr. Sefako Phala was about 16 minutes. Okay, no big deal, but the CSR [ ] who checks people in on the right side of the CSR area was not very personable when she verified my address, insurance, etc., even though I had checked in online prior. No greetings and no eye contact. Not a good first impression in the morning. Everything else was great.

Dr. Phalla always does a great job of listening to concerns and coming up with solutions that will work for me. He also remembers things about me and asks me questions about my life. It’s rare to have a doctor who makes such efforts to show he cares about his patients.
