Dr. Shefkind was very kind to treat my swollen eye without a scheduled appointment. I just walked in and was examined same hour. The entire staff was very courteous and understood my situation with great concern. I am indeed grateful.

I have been seeing Dr. Shefkind for a long time. He is an outstanding doctor! I find him personable, kind, gentle, thorough, and he informs me of what to expect in the future (cataracts). I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Dr. Mark Schefkind is known to us for the 30 years.
In 90s I took my mother for her eye care to Dr. Schefkind. After she passed away I took my wife to him.
I go to him for my eye care as well. He is one who did
cataract surgery for all of us. He is very gentle person and very helpful. He is very professional in his profession. We really appreciate his public service.

My appointment at Dr Mark Schefkind’s office was pleasant from beginning to end. His staff is friendly, efficient, and very professional and always is.

Dr. Schefkind is an outstanding eye doctor. His staff that prepared me to see him is very professional. He is very patient-focused and has many years of experience. He allowed me to ask questions, which he responded to very well. I believe he’s the best in the business. I recommend him very highly.

Everyone friendly from time entered office to leaving. Person who did eye test and instilled first drops was excellent. Wonderful personality, explained in simple terms what was going to happen to patient with severe dementia. Always kept patient informed and praised him throughout visit. MD excellent!

Dr. Schefkind is very thorough and knows exactly what needs to be done with my eyes. After doing what he told me to do... My eyes looks better now and the red spot on my eyelid is almost gone.

Dr Chay took his time and explained multiple things to me. There was no sense of rushing through the appointment. I would highly recommend him.

Always a bright "spot" in the visit to have him as the Dr. He is upfront with everything, but pushes nothing he doesn't feel sure that you need and is a good "wait and see" Dr. if nothing immediate. He's just a BUSY Dr., but gives us the time when in the office.

I am so impressed with the services and performance done to me by Dr Schefkind. My vision is getting better everyday and I could perform well in all my tasks without struggle.The entire staffs are helpful and organized in providing me the informations during preparations and after the procedure. Dr. Chay and his assistant Lorraine took their time with my appointment. Never felt rushed. Even though I will eventually have cataract surgery and Dr. Chay could have easily convinced me it was time but he did not.
