What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Yes. I have been around awhile and Dr Houston is by far the best general physician I have had.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
that i have received ex evaluations and final treatments for 20 years from Dr Houston and staff, that virtually ultimately kept me alive. Lately, however, i have observed the whole office and Staff being Rushed.. No Time anymore for extended discussions on treatment criterea. if i want to pursue my Cancer questions, my office visit times are limited, and some of the Staff i would see , have left.. thats puzzling. Now, if i want some serious treatment discussions, i will have to make additional appointment times, because actual in office, patient one on one time, seems to be on the Clock, so to speak. at this point, i am considering Leaving the , my Michi Health, and going to a private practice to get what i used to have for the PAST 20 YEARS WITH THIS SYSTEM.. SAD..SAD.. I would recommend seeing Dr Houston , only if She went into a private practice, where She could once again have More patient Time.

Dr Houston always takes them time needed to answer all question and never makes a patient feel like they are taking too much of her time . She makes you fell your time with her is important. This is beginning to get less and less in our health care system most providers are rushed and you feel it is all about money . Not with. Dr Houston.

Sad that MisMichigan is losing her - and I will probably need to leave the system to get properly scheduled medical care. Short sighted decisions is going to hurt the bottom line at your institution.

Dr. Houston is a good listener. Unlike other physicians, she has respect for the chronologically advantaged patients. She doesn't treat them as though they have one foot in the grave!

I very much enjoy having Dr. Houston as my Dr. She is always willing to listen to why I am there and come up with the best solution to take care of it. The office staff is always wonderful to work with as well.

Dr. Houston is a wonderful Dr and takes the time necessary to listen to what my concerns are and come up with a way to fix them. One thing I really like and appreciate is that she doesn't push medications if there is a way to handle an issue without them.

Once you become an octogenarian, doctors often treat you with a patronizing attitude. They act as though there's nothing they can do to fix you. I don't go to a doctor to be fixed. I only want help in trying to maintain as much Independence as I possibly can. Dr Houston is very respectful, courteous and a good listener. She does not over prescribe or suggest unnecessary tests.

She is always friendly. Seems a little more hurried than she used to. Willing to follow up on my health issues. Nurse Jennifer is very friendly and willing to go the extra mile in following up on a health related request.
