What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
He actually listened to me and my husband when we met with him before our son was born. He didn’t make me feel crazy for the questions I asked and that was so great. There’s not very many doctors like him out there anymore. And ever sense our son was born he has been great with the two visits we have had with our son.

Dr. Beckman is awesome! Been taking my kids to him for 17 yrs. His consistency and knowledge has never let us down!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Beckman takes all of our concerns seriously and is very nice. He is not judgmental and is very caring. Our little one loves him as well.

Dr Beckman is hand down the best doctor I have come across in Michigan. He is very thorough and knowledgeable.

Dr Beckman is very analytical, thorough, and is passionate about the health of my child and family. He seeks to find the root causes of illness and cares about my education as a parent about my child’s health.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Waiting in room for 50 minutes without an update. It would have been nice if someone would've popped in to tell us that the doctor was going to be a little bit longer. We could definitely understand that, but an update would have been courteous. Also, they were getting ready to close the office and we were worried that we were gonna be forgotten about there was no one around to even ask when I open the door to peek out of the room.

Dr. Beckman is really informative. He is very thorough and i really appreciate how he respects what I want and always has additional info for me to research.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I would tell them to consider another provider. The office staff was very rude and dismissive during our last appointment when we were trying to check out. It was very unprofessional.

Dr. Beckman is a thoughtful and knowledgeable physician and his staff is amazing! My daughter was so apprehensive about getting shots and two of his nurses made the experience really easy and quick!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I am thankful for the rapport my daughter has with Dr. Beckman to be able to openly talk about issues that need to be addressed. Dr. Beckman is an attentive listener who is able to sort out conversations well to get to root issues. He is very intelligent to where he can remember a lot of important details, and his medical reports are thorough. I am very grateful for his medical care. I am also very happy to have Missy the M.A. and her nurturing demeanor as a part of Dr. Beckman’s team. She is a nice bonus touch to the already wonderful care that Dr. Beckman provides. I hope Missy stays his M.A. for a very long time.

I was absolutely thrilled to see Missy is Dr. Beckman’s medical assistant. Missy is going to complement Dr. Beckman very well to make a great medical team that the pediatric patients need.

To have a pediatrician who understands root causes and bigger pictures is a gift. Dr. Beckman is amazing. His new medical assistant Missy is caring and brings a warm dynamic to the overall competence of the medical practice.

Dr, Beckman is a thorough doctor and he really listens to what your child needs. I felt very comfortable bringing my baby to him immediately.

I always encourage people to use Dr. Beckman as their child’s pediatrician. He is an up to date caring doctor that doesn’t push things that parents don’t want for their children. He lets the parents be parents!

Knowledgeable, calm, level-headed, logical, thorough, intelligent, competent, confident. These are all the traits that Dr Beckman is. Anyone who has Dr. Beckman for a physician, and any parent who has him as a physician for their child should consider themselves blessed. Dr. Beckman is very gifted in the highly professional medical service that he does.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr Beckman is an excellent doctor. You can tell he truly cares about his patients & what's best for their health long term. He gives you treatment options & allows you to choose what you feel is best for your child, without judgement. He goes above and beyond by providing his patients with a way to contact him after hours when needed. He also mails any test results to us with his notes quickly.

The world needs a million more doctors like Doctor Beckman. The Sault area needs doctors just like him but who can also accept patients other than just pediatric patients. That’s all there is to it.

Dr Beckman is the only doctor in Sault ste Marie who believes in informed consent and actually cares about his patients. I hope he's making a half million dollars a year at minimum.

Our daughter has many different medical complexities, but I’ve always felt that Dr. Beckman was the right fit for her care and he genuinely cares. He’s very thorough in office and also extremely supportive when we need his advice when the office is closed and I’m able to contact him with ease.
