My meeting with Dr. Mogil was brief, concise, & happy-making: no changes to my retinal health. This was particularly welcome news because a sr. resident at the UVa Med Ctr Eye Clinic whom I had seen for a different issue a wk earlier announced to me I had macular degeneration. Dr. Mogil assured me his diagnosis was off the cuff and wrong. She pointed to the evidence that countered his conclusion. She commiserated kindly with me about the anxiety that beset me during the wk beyween this (mis)diagnosis & our appt. Good treatment, Good doctoring.
