Outstanding care, well informed and compassionate staff. I was seriously injured and my care was excellent. My pain management was fast and effective and my post patient line of communication was tremendous. My corrective surgery was scheduled within 24 hrs and complete pre-op instructions emailed to me within that space if time, WITH a confirming telephone call. You have my highest recommendation. Thank you

The wait was long but the care was very good. Staff was very professional and courteous, even when some patients were disgusting!

Front desk people deal with a lot but just slapping on a bracelet and sending us to sit without any kind of time frame is frustrating. Especially waiting in crucial pain

I do wish my one skin wound was dressed and they would have then seen and recorded my bruise on my pubic bone area.

The emergency room waiting area needs improvement. Not enough room for the large number of people. Also there appears to be a lack of security because no one was checking ID when entering the waiting area. Anyone can just walk in.

We had the best care for my 95 year old mother. We got right in which is unusual for an emergency room.

I was having blood pressure issues and chest pain on the 23rd. I love the text message system you have to let patient know what the next step will be and what tests are ordered. Very well informed in a way that keeps patients from wondering what’s next. Thank you for that. I did have a nurse there that was kinda of rude to me she had kinda had an southern accent she didn’t listen to my blood pressure concerns when it went up to 200 she seemed to not really care took along time to come in and check on me and acted like I was overreacting when I was scared at the end she became a little nicer not sure why. The Dr was informative and gave me options and even offered for me to be admitted when we couldn’t figure out what was causing my issues but I decided not to and the sonogram guy was amazing he talked me through everything and reassured me that these tests would tell me if something major was wrong. But other than that 10 out 10. Thanks renown!

I was involved in horrific truck crash. A lady had crashed me into some railing. Almost went off of 500 foot cliff. The lady hit and ran and then broke into somebody's house and then tried to steal their car. I have to say the paramedics, that picked me up.and the emergency team at Reno. Main campus is top notch. They took me too a CT scan, body scan check me out very very quick. and Dr. Monique Lloyd, she was awesome. She told me I had whiplash gave it to me Very simple. 13 years ago, my mother passed away on the third floor in the cancer ward of pancreatic cancer. And the doctors and the gastrologist and everybody involved nurses included.they educated me and I learned a lot on my own. They took the very best care of my mother just like you guys took care of me. Thank you so much.your hospital is the best in northern Nv.

All of the doctors, nurses , and techs I saw were great. I felt cared for. It was also important to me to have some privacy from my family, who came uninvited. Mia did a great job blocking them. Thanks to the staff at Renown for making a scary and troubling situation more comfortable.

I appreciate the care I was given. Everyone was kind and efficient. I especially liked dealing with Dr. Jason Hill. He was very informative and thoughtful when conveying information to me and my husband.
I don't want to return for another scary visit, but if I need to I know I will be treated very well. Thank you to everyone I was involved with.

I am very impressed with the ER now. The doctor was wonderful. He came in numerous times to keep me updated on what was going on and the test was running and why he was running them and we were definitely on the same page as far as making sure we found out what we needed before I left. One of the best DR doctors I’ve dealt with. Scott Shepard is the name that comes up on the test that we’re on so I’m guessing that’s his name super compassionate no questions at all couldn’t be better.

Nurse Fiona and Dr Kersjes were awesome, because I was miserable with nausea, it seemed like it took a while waiting before I was able to get into a room .. however, once I got into the room things happened quickly .. They took good care of me and performed tests to check me out completely!!

From the check in through the check out, everyone from the front desk and clinical team treated me care and attention which help me feel I would receive the best care for my eye. When I taken to ER room the gentleman in grey scrubs he made me feel comfortable and his sense of humor was very welcoming. Nurse Melanie explained what was going to happen and she checked on me while I waited for the doctor. She asked if I wanted a blanket and that was a good idea for me. Dr. Connor Talbotts explained what he was going to perform in examing my eye and he reviewed with me the results. When I had questions he explained it in very understandable way. He also gave a referral and clear next steps to follow up. I did see eye doctor the following day and my eye had Vitreous Detachment but should be fine but to monitor if symptoms change. Thank you for your excellent service and care!

My nurse Helmi was kind and as attentive as possible in a crazy busy ER. I especially appreciate that she did not harass or pressure me about using my wrist BP cuff instead of the arm torture cuff.

I’ve been to renown a few times, but I must say this last time I was there was the best time and the most respectable time and the most respectable staff and Doctors that I have experienced at Reno Medical Center thank you so very much right now and keep up the wonderful work you guys have made a lot of changes, even though it was a horrible time that I had to go through renown and made it the best that they could make it for me and ease my anxiety was very clear to me from the doctor. Everything that was going on and again the stay there was absolutely amazing again renown, and keep up the great work thank you so much

I appreciated the small things that matter. Especially during short awake sedation the team managed to get back into place when I revived so I was not freaked out by disappearing people. PLEASE thicken the bed cushion. The steel against my butt and back really hurt me.

Yes, I would love to just give the highest recommendations to all the staff. I have one name right on hand, Dr. Amanda Murphy. Just so kind, so careful. Everybody was in tip-top shape. It was very busy the day that I was there, but that didn't seem to bother them. issued me extremely well care and were just outstanding. Super champs. All the staff, the one I have the name, of course, Dr. Amanda Murphy, but just a very pleasurable experience. Took time, let me talk and explain my views and my wants and needs.

Didn’t feel comfortable in going home ask the doctor if could be admitted for further treatment because not comfortable in taking care of myself at this time doctor would not admit me. Left foot has been hurting since I was there and can’t walk on it.
