What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
This is the first time that I have felt so good after a surgery. The nursing staff and Dr. Hamel were incredible. They handled my situation with humor which helped relax me and demonstrated excellent knowledge. If needed, I have no qualms about seeing them again.

The office person did not acknowledge me when I came in, but everybody else I had contact with was outstanding! The nurse who took care of me was extremely caring, took her time to make sure I understood everything and was comfortable. She was also warm and friendly, and super competent. Dr. Hamel was very nice and showed the same level of professionalism as his nurse. They also did not keep me waiting: as soon as my results came back, they let me know.

Dr.Hamel is excellent and makes you very comfortable! He explains things so it’s easy to understand and just seems like a generally sweet person!!!

I was mess just worried to death about what was going to happen. The staff was great. I was releaved. I was very pleased about everything. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you to his whole staff.

The doctor and his staff appear to be very knowledgeable and helpful, with pleasant personalities. Prior cancer removal location is undetectable.

Stephanie and Dr. Hamel provided professional and compassionate care. The facilities were great. Followed up to ensure I was not experiencing any complications after my surgery. Highly recommend them!!!

Doctor Hamil was wonderful to work with along with his male nurse Erik. They both were very reassuring and helpful with the procedure I was having. I was very stressed out with having this tumor and so happy that he removed it. We are blessed to have him with My Michigan Health! Thank you doctor Hamil and Eric!

Very professional and thorough from the office staff to the doctor. Took time to explain procedure and the aftermath. Let me know I could call with any questions after I got home. They called the next day to see if everything was going well. Would recommend 100 percent.

Very thorough and professional with the doctor and his staff. Took time to explain procedure and what to expect afterwards. Got a call from the office the next day to see how everything was going. Would recommend the most highly.

I was referred in [Month] and couldn't get an appointment until the end of [Month]. That wait was longer than I would have preferred. Then I was calling and asked if the surgery could get pushed back to [Month]. I agreed. However, they had a cancelation and ended up being able to perform the surgery on the original date scheduled at the end of [Month]. Procedure was quick and easy. Directions and Parking were easy. Facility was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the seasonal decor. The Facility seemed well staffed, friendly and helpful. Dr. Hamel, the student doctor shadowing him, and nurse that attended me were personable and great. We just had friendly conversation and the next thing I knew, I was all done. Post opt phone call from nurse the next day was nice. Took the time to care and make sure I was all set for healing.

Dr.Hamel was so attentive and explained what he was going to do thoroughly. Stephanie was my nurse so nice and friendly and explained and gentle when numbing bcc on my nose. I would recommend Dr. Hamel highly to anyone that would need a facial bcc removed.
