The doctor and staff were friendly and professional, listened to my thoughts and were respectful. Thie surgery and follow-up were by far the best interaction I've had at mid Michigan Midland. I would definitely recommend Dr Hamils office.

I was greeted by his nurse, Maddie, and was taken to a room to go over my medical history and medications. Dr Hamil and a physician who was shadowing him both introduced themselves and Dr Hamil explained the procedure. Maddie administered the numbing medication. Dr Hamil performed the first shaving of the lesion (Mohs procedure). He advised me it may take an hour before the pathology was done. I opted to stay in the room. Maddie checked in on me frequently. When Dr Hamil returned he said no further scraping was necessary and that the cancer was removed. Maddie went over discharge instructions and I was on my way!

Ive only had 1 appointment, dr cut out a basil cell cancer from my nose, praying its the last time i hafta see him! Everyone including dr was awesome people, nurse was polite and helpful, dr was the best his personality was very relaxing under a hugh strain, his trainee was very polite n i let her do everything dr did except cutting on my so she could learn her job. Id have no problem refering anyone to them! Great people!!!

Though it was only 1 visit, I was very happy with the treatment I received. I really don't have anything to compare it to, but if I needed this type of service again, I would request to see Dr. Hamel. No questions asked! His staff was also excellent to work with. Very impressed!
