We’re very happy with the Peds office and Dr Wakeman! They made transitioning into parenthood and all the health/wellness stuff very easy. We trust them and all appointments are smooth

Frustrated with being asked what is the recommended pharmacy and every time, they send her meds to the old pharmacy. Why can’t it be removed from the chart?

Dr Wakeman and her staff are amazing. Our kids love going to the “doctors” because they make it fun and not a scary experience. Front desk is so welcoming!!

She is caring and friendly, takes time for any and all questions and concerns. Awesome with my baby and online questions get answered quickly. Staff is personable and friendly, quick but efficient appointments they doesn't rush you in any way.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
She is wonderful with my child and shows great care in what she does. Online responses are quick and helpful, in person visits are quick but she takes the time for any questions or concerns I may have. The office staff is personable and friendly. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for pediatrician.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
Dr Wakeman has an outstanding connection with her patients and has a good way to communicate with them on their level. Our daughter was very comfortable speaking with Dr Wakeman about personal issues and was so excited Dr Wakeman listened to her. Nurse Monica is always outstanding with our children. This team cares about the health and wellbeing of their patients and families. I highly recommend to get established with this office.

The visit couldn’t have went any smoother.

Both Dr. Wakeman and Moncia we're amazing as usually. Answered all my questions and put my mind at ease that Lincolns toe will be just fine. Very professional and so kind!

Both my daughter and I felt everyone was very nice, friendly, and helpful. My daughter has not enjoyed going to the doctors office in the past but walked out with a positive, comfortable feeling. Everyone in that office was great!

What could have been done to improve your experience?
We didn't get the tailored advice we were hoping for. She didn't have any specific guidance for how to help him sleep more or how to navigate his food allergies more than I was able to find out on my own through researching these issues online. She just said, that sounds like his pattern and didn't offer any concrete advice.

We love Nurse Monica and Dr. Wakeman. They always listen to our concerns and offer suggestions and guidance where needed. Nurse Monica is also very responsive when we ask questions through the portal. We appreciate their time that they give to us as first time parents.

The nurse that did the vaccines that has been a part of the office for 12 years was outstanding! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and showed patience.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
The MA that roomed us seemed to become short with us after we requested that vaccines be showed to us prior to administering. She sent a nurse in to give them our what felt like, was too "deal" with us.

I always highly recommend Dr.Wakeman and staff to my family and friends. Her and Monica always take the time to listen to our questions and are overall great with Vivian. I truly think they want the very best for Vivian and my family. Also, the front desk staff are always friendly and go above and beyond for parents and their patients.

Dr. Wakeman and nurse Monica always go above and beyond for the best care for [Patient]. Recently Jaxon wouldn't take his antibiotics so we opted to do antibiotic shots, Monica was amazing with [Patient]comforting him during his shots and making sure he was taken care of. She was amazing. Both Dr. Wakeman and Monica checked on him after his first shot to make sure he wasn't having an reaction. Always the highest quality of care!! [Patient name redacted for privacy.]

Staff always speak directly to my children, using their names, instead of using me, mom, as a mediator. Every member treats my children like old friends.

Her nurse, Monica, is amazing as well as Dr Wakeman. So friendly and always has a gentle tone with my 18 month old daughter. Even when she doesn’t want to be touched or even looked at. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician!

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
Her nurse Monica is amazing. The doctor herself needs to be led by asking questions. I Don’t like that. What is I don’t know the proper questions to ask?? Then I never know. That is their job. Also, I wanted to change my doctor to another in the office that I felt we would be more Compatible with. I was told that is not allowed! NOT ALLOWED! What happened to my right to choose a doctor. This is NOT a private practice, they must abide by the rules of the organization and they are not.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Please read the previous statement. Also, you have to “be approved” and have the doctor “accept you” as a patient. They need to deflate their god status. The narcassism is a bit much. You are Definetly under their command while you are there. The Doctor is not open to testing “outside her normal testing”. As a mother/ father we know our child and have done research and need a doctor who is open to testing g to find out what is wrong with our daughter not just say “I don’t test for that”. Then what are we supposed to do? No alternative was offered she just stood in silence. I have never disliked a doctor, this is a first.

What could have been done to improve your experience?
We had significant delays in trying to transfer Duncan's medical records from his previous office. These delays meant that we missed one of his well child visits and vacines. When I called multiple times to see how the transfer was going the record keeper staff ember was short with me over the phone. We were disappointed in this delay and staff treatment but the medical provider visit was fine.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
We switched to dr Wakeman last month. From the moment she met our daughter, she knew she had different needs and was very willing to help get those needs met. She asked very thorough and detailed questions as the chart didn’t have much documentation from the previous pediatrician. We felt heard with the concerns we have and finally someone willing to listening to make sure her needs are met.
