Dr. Rechner is one of the best Drs in town, and I DREAD the day that we lose her too. I don't know why this hospital can't (or won't) hang on to good Drs but it's only costing the people of Sault Ste. Marie. I don't necessarily mean monetarily, although it does cost more money to have to drive hours away, but I truly do mean that it is costing them their health care. And it doesn't seem that anyone cares.

Yes absolutely! We were on a time crunch and Dr. Rechner and her nurse were amazing and made sure to get us in and out in a timely manner. We really appreciated when we told the nurse about the time crunch she forwarded that on to Dr. Rechner and she immediately came in and made sure we were out on time so thank you so much .

Dr. Rechner always goes above and beyond. She even helped me download the patient portal on my phone. She scheduled an MRI and referred me to a surgeon who will be able to assist with my problem. Always impressed by how genuine and thorough she is. She truly cares about her patients. Top notch!!

I wish after care was available because this area doesn't make it easy for finding someone to care for you after surgery. If I had in home help my recovery would have been much better

She saved my life in [YEAR] when she preformed colon surgery and took out a section of my colon that had cancer in bedded in the walls. I was stage 3. Am still here and doing grear.
