I really enjoy working with Dr. G and I recommend anyone who needs assistance with pain management to look into working with him.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Excellent with needles for botox. Really listens to me about my symptoms and where my pain is. This paperwork in-between procedures is over the top too much. My next scheduled 6 week appt is 8 weeks away!!! Next available! I will be suffering.

Although it’s usually a wait to get in, the care was excellent and I didn’t feel rushed. He explained everything in detail and answered my questions thoroughly. Very grateful we have such a wonderful provider in Alpena.

Dr. Guglani is a new doctor to me, but I was impressed with my first meeting, and looking forward to working with him to resolve my health issue.

What could have been done to improve your experience?
My issue is the delay between scheduled appointments. the first shots did nothing for my pain and the next scheduled shot was 5 weeks out. When you are in pain everyday that is a long time.

I won't dont even want to rate this Doctor! Worst experience ever! Never even introduced himself, wouldn't let me ask questions, had a know it all arrogant attitude, continuously cut me off..I gave up! Thank goodness his Assistant/Nurse was awesome...She was the one who explained everything and the procedures to be done (after he left) not him! He left without saying goodbye, [removed profanity] or explaining anything. So, I will be seeking a 2nd opinion. If you need more info, see the survey I completed. Otherwise the rest of the Staff was Absolutely Wonderful! Very nice, thorough and helpful. I've read some of the reviews on Dr. Guglani...It appears I am Not the only one with similar issues with this man. I hope this review makes a difference.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
I was nervous, and really appreciated Dr. Guglani taking the time to help me feel at ease. Despite the busy hospital environment, he made sure I understood the procedure, answered all my questions, and reassured me that I could stop at any point.

The nurses and Drs and NP always listen to what I say and we work together to find treatments that will work longer for my pain.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
It would be nice if there was an additional person to do the follow-up and pre-procedure appointments. The insurance is requiring more visits and they are booked up too far out.

I appreciate that he listened. If I go on to have the nerve ablation I want him to do it. The other doctor was great, too.
