Mom is 92 years young and Dr Steven Cohen's patient. This was here first visit with Dr Cohen so Mom, my wife and I were a bit nervous...
Mom said it was the best eye injection she has EVER received and she has been suffering from injections for several years now. The type of injection she received was also new but seems to be agreeing with her better than the last type. We are all very Happy!
We greatly appreciate Dr Cohen for his knowledge, his know how and his KINDNESS!!! His staff are also kind and caring!!!
We worried for nothing and we now know we can relax for the next visit thanks to Dr Cohen!!!

They took me right away, the tech did the initial prep and then Dr Priya did the examination and said she was pleased with the progress and if there were no issues she would see me in 4 months.

Fantastic office staff. Friendly and yet professional. Dr. Priya has the steadiest & gentlest hands that I have ever seen. Takes care of my 92yr old father as if he was her own! I wish we would have found her years ago! I would recommend her to ANYONE who need advanced eye care. She is by far the best I’ve seen.

Dr. Cohen has been my retinal specialist since I moved to Florida in 2019. I require eye injections for macular degeneration and his treatments have kept my eye from getting worse. I have been going for injections every 3 months and at the last visit Dr. Cohen changed my medicine which resulted in an improvement in my eye health which is allowing me to extend my time between appointments to four months. Due to his knowledge of new medications, I feel secure in the fact that my eyesight is not degenerating. He is also one of the kindest physicians I have had the pleasure of seeing.

Dr. Vakharia has been absolutely wonderful. She has taken over my case (torn retina). The initial surgery was performed out of state. During a routine follow up she noticed another tear. She was able to perform a retinal buckle surgery within 18 hours. Dr. Vakharia is not only a very talented surgeon, she is also great at walking me through the processes, the risks, the next steps and the timelines. These are difficult conversations which she handles in both a professional and personable manner. One of my favorite things is that she always takes the time to ensure that all my questions are answered. After each interaction, I have never felt rushed or that I didn’t fully understand the status of my case.

Dr Cohen knows what he’s doing and does it very well. You can tell he loves what he does. Dr. Cohen cares about his patients and is easy to talk to. I’m amazed at the number of people who were losing their eyesight because of retina issues that now can see better than ever before. He’s truly amazing! God has blessed Dr Cohen with an incredible gift. My eye has gone from 20/300 to 20/20. I don’t care where I am in the world, if I ever have another retina problem, I’m going to see Dr. Cohen. Thank you, Dr. Cohen for giving me back my eyesight!!!

Dr Cohen is absolutely superb - thorough, explains everything about my eyes, his designed sponge numbing treatment is the best I’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend him for macular degeneration. His staff is excellent too.

I have been to perhaps 8 or 10 ophthalmologists over the past 50 years, and Dr. Vakharia is the best I have ever seen, both on compassion and capability. Cannot recommend her highly enough.
