Dr. Zimmer is the perfect doctor in every way. The problem is not with her. It’s with how many patients she has.

Student nurse was less than friendly, nurse was good both had to measure head of my baby and still weren’t right. Dr Zimmer is wonderful and had no problems getting measurements.

She is very understanding and listens to what you have to say and does not push off medication on you...runs tests first and is very concerning.

I really like Dr Zimmer and her staff. The are always really ice and helpful.. I am very happy with this Dr and her staff and feel very fortunate to have her as my Dr. thank you!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I’m very happy with Dr Zimmer and her staff. Even though I don’t get follow up calls from her office I always get prompt feedback on My Michigan/ Mychart portal for visits/ test results and if I ask a question or have a request via the patient portal I usually hear back from a staff member within 2 days.

Dr Zimmer is patient and friendly in person but if you call with a question her assistant takes it and calls later with Zimmer’s response.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
This was my 1st visit, and I was pleasantly surprised. Dr Zimmer shows she cares about You as a person, not just a number. She will not refill my pain or anxiety meds, or muscle relaxers. I'm a bit apprehensive about that, but she is offering alternatives.

I like that when I have an actual health problem she fits me right in quickly. She is patient yet inquisitive, asking pertinent questions.

I like getting care from because she doesn't expect me to come for routine. Instead, when I have an actual issue, she is "spot on" getting me in quickly.

I tried to bring up a valid point and I kept getting dismissed. I tried to approach the question in different ways and was still being actively dismissed. Once I started to assert my voice over hers and showed actual pictures, did she take the time to ACTUALLY listen to me. Disappointed.

I waited almost a year for my first appointment. Now it’s going to be 6 months before I have my physical. She is not very available!

This provider basicly saved my life. After a blood test on [date] she discovered a serious issue with my kidney functions. Told me to go to ER immediately. She basicly saved me from Dialysis.

Dr Zimmer is a wonderful doctor it’s hard to get appointment in a timely way the staff doesn’t call u back when u have a question or a problem you need to discuss even with these problems I still will see Dr Zimmer she makes up the down side

We love Dr Zimmer but the girl who greeted us at the front desk must had been having a bad day because she couldn't even smile. I was going to ask her if she was having a bad day but decided not to!!

Dr Zimmer is the best! Always prepared for the appointment and helps you understand the “what and whys” allows for input into care and always under stands your concerns and address them in a way that makes sense so that your at ease with your care.

I would tell my family and friends, that Dr. Zimmer is excellent, she remembers from one visit to the next what is going on with you medically and personally. She will listen to you and never make you feel rushed or unimportant. Her nurse takes the time to listen to you and will explain if you have questions for her. From the time you walk in the door until you leave everyone is polite, understanding, and willing to help you.

I have total confidence in Dr Zimmer, she listens and you can tell she wants to help her patients and ready and truly cares . Unfortunately there are Dr's out there that don't feel the same as Dr Zimmer , I feel like I've been blessed by God to line me up with Dr Zimmer . And her team
