The provider is fine, it’s the My Michigan System. Impossible to get in in a timely manner, will not coordinate care makes you come back for frequent checks. It is unacceptable to make a patient wait two months before they can start physical therapy for their back. There should be more doctors and nurse practitioners available to me in the health park I should not have to fight for an appointment the way I do. And this all falls on My Michigan. This is not the doctors. This is the people running My michigan I have worked [OCCUPATION] my whole career and I know what games you’re playing you are billing my insurance repeatedly with all of these visits so that you can stay in the black and not caring about my budget my time or my Health.

Nicole is very patient and helpful. Explains everything in a manner you can understand. My biggest complaint is my Michigan's factory doctor set up. Sometimes u need to speak to a doctor for more than 15 minutes. The new policy's are mechanical, and with little to no choices (for family medicine) people will stay, but I know I'm not alone when I say, medical is not factory work to monetize, more payments an hour from insurance companies. It's about compassion, and truly getting to the root of the problem. That is hard to do when a buzzer or watch goes off after 15 minutes!!

Dr. Zimmer is always professional, friendly and caring. She is thrower and takes time to listen to you. Her staff is very helpful and friendly. I trust Dr. Zimmer and her staff. If for any reason they can't get back with me the same day about a question, I always hear from them with an answer the next day. If my question is urgent, I hear from them the same day.

I’m pleased with the doctor and her care. Her staff are always polite and efficient. I did have an experience that was upsetting. My appointment was at 1pm, I driver 45 minutes to get there. I was 3 minutes late, checking in with the receptionist at 1:03p. She said she’d have to check with the staff to see if I could be seen, and that if it was 4 minutes then the doctor would make the decision. She apologized and said she’s only following policy and that she didn’t make up the policy. I was instantly angry as was my wife. Of course I take responsibility for being 3 minutes late, but we were never made aware of this policy. I could not find anything online to reflect this policy either. I think you’d benefit from putting that info on your greeting that talks about respect & zero tolerance for poor behaviors. I have often waited more than 3 minutes to see a doctor, no problem. I know you want to stay on schedule, but 3 minutes seems a little over the top. The tone for the visit: ruined.

I usually see Ashley Alvord, LOVE HER, but this was an urgent care visit. Dr Zimmer had an opening, so I saw her. I e never seen her before, but I was very impressed with her bedside manner. She was very kind, listened well and I was satisfied with the diagnosis. I had been suffering with intermittent dizziness and it was really bad that day. She took great care of me and I would recommend her.
